IRVINE, Calif.- The CUI beach volleyball team had a perfect weekend on March 8 and 9. The Golden Eagles were able to recover from their tough losses at the Battle of LA tournament with a perfect pairings scores of 5-0 against Cal State LA and Arizona Christian and scores 4-1 against Vanguard University. 
 
In the game against Cal State LA, the green and golds pairings were nearly perfect. All pairings won their games in back-to-back sets. The two's pair, Sara Ostojic and Tatum Smith, dominated their match against CSULA, not letting the opposing Golden Eagles get into double digits during the match.
 
First flight, Kali Uhl and Kelissa Lemoine, had a perfect weekend as they went undefeated, winning all their matches in straight sets. Usually flight six, Makena Houston and Nicole Miller advanced their way into flight five in the matches against Vanguard University and Arizona Christian. The pair defeated their opponents in straight sets.
 
The Golden Eagles are making their way to Northridge, Calif. on Wednesday March 13 for a rematch of the Golden Eagles and the CSUN Matadors. CLICK HERE for the full schedule.
