Los Angeles, Calif.- The CUI beach volleyball team went on the road for the Battle of LA tournament hosted by the USC Trojans. The Green and Gold contended with USC and LBSU on Friday March 1 and LMU and Cal on March 2. The Golden Eagles were ultimately defeated by all teams in straight 5-0 losses over the weekend. 

In the match against LBSU, first pairing, Kali Uhl and Kelissa Lemoine were able to take a set off the Beach and fight through the rest of the match with scores of 20-22, 21-10, and 15-8. All other pairings competed against LBSU with second pairing, Sara Ostojic and Tatum Smith coming close in both sets.
