IRVINE, Calif. – The playoff-bound Concordia women's basketball team net two Third Team All-Conference selections in the end of the year awards.

Izzy Navarro is your PacWest Freshman of the Year after leading Concordia in points, assists AND steals.  The talented guard averaged 13.4 points per game, along with 3.0 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals.

A native of Tijuana, Mexico, the first-year guard scored in double figures 17 times and started every game for the Golden Eagles. She also scored 20 points or more on six different occasions – including a career-high 27 points in her team's road victory at Biola.

Savannah Felix-Amoroso was rewarded as a Third Team All-Selection as a senior. The Rosary Academy product averaged 9.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. She also led Concordia starters in field goal percentage (50 percent) while shooting 70 percent on free throws.

The Catalina Island, Calif. native scored in double figures 12 times this year – including a season-high 20 points in a home win over Westmont.

Head coaches across the league vote at the end of every regular season for First Team, Second Team and Third Team All-PacWest selections along with the individual awards.

CUI heads to San Diego this week for the PacWest Conference Championships after clinching the No. 5 seed with an essential play-in victory over Westmont last Saturday.  Navarro scored 18 points against the Warriors and fellow sharpshooter Stephanie Lee also nailed four treys in that big win.

CUI faces No. 4 seed Dominican on Thursday, March 7 at 7:15 p.m. 

This marks the sixth consecutive season under CUI head coach Christine Collins-Kiernan that the women's basketball team has made the PacWest conference tournament.
