KENOSHA, Wisc. – For the first time in school history, a Concordia Golden Eagle competed at the NCAA DII Men's Cross Country Championships.
And for senior
Noah Plaza, it was a day he will always remember.
In the final race of his impressive career with the Green and Gold, Plaza finished 60th out of 259 runners on the national stage. To put that in perspective, Plaza finished in the top quarter of the field in an impressive display of stamina and grit as the first Golden Eagles in the NCAA DII era to compete in the National meet.
He clocked a time of 31 minutes and 3.2 seconds to cross the line in fine form. He flirted with the top 50 and was in the thick of the pack for the majority of the race.
