IRVINE, Calif. - Before the Christmas holiday, the Concordia men's basketball team wrapped up all three PacWest weekly awards after a pair of solid wins to close out the calendar year.

CUI finished the month of December with back-to-back home victories over Dominican and Fresno Pacific. The first-place Golden Eagles were named PacWest Team of the Week after they moved to 4-0 in conference play and are the only remaining undefeated team in the PacWest as the calendar flips to 2026.

Kaden Minter averaged 23.0 points per game and 6.0 rebounds during the two victories and shot a blistering 68 percent from the field. He finished an insane +41 for the time he spent on the court as well.  

Radek Homer was acknowledged for his stellar play on both ends as the PacWest Defender of the Week. The transfer from Northern Colorado has proven to be a defensive menace and limited high-scoring guards on both the Penguins and Sunbirds to subpar days at the office despite their impressive pedigrees.

Homer and his teammates held their opponents to just a 26 percent shooting percentage from three-pointers and held both teams to 66 points or less. CUI held FPU to 61 points in Thursday's contest.
