Senior
Erika Maggard scored 20+ while grabbing 10 rebounds last game against the Knights, and this game was another cherry on top to end her career. Maggard led CUI scoring with 14 points, grabbing 12 rebounds. This was
Erika Maggards' second double-double in a row, ending with a career-high of 12 rebounds.
Seniors who were celebrated included
Erika Maggard,
Sierra Clark,
Justyce Harris,
Caylee Santos, and
Kendall Jackson.
The Golden Eagles, throughout the game, were extremely aggressive on both sides of the ball. The Penguins showed poise through the Golden Eagles constant attack and also showed why they are headed into the PacWest Women's Basketball Tournament as a top-three seed.
Getting bested by the Penguins, the Golden Eagles look onto the off-season to rest, rebuild, and get ready for the next season.
