It was a hard-fought battle between the Mountain Hawks from Lehigh and the Golden Eagles, but unfortunately, the green and gold team came up just short, losing 3-4 in a thrilling match. Despite the loss, there were plenty of positive performances that showed resilience and determination.
In doubles action, our #1 duo of Sophie Rachor and Bryn Johnson delivered an impressive 6-2 win, setting the tone early. Not to be outdone, the #2 doubles pair of Alicia da Re and Jessica Bear also came through with a solid 6-3 victory, giving us a strong start to the match with two doubles wins under our belt.
Moving to singles, Bryn Johnson showcased her fighting spirit, battling through a tough three-set match to secure a 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 win at #2 singles. On the lower end of the singles lineup, Cheyenne Houkes was nothing short of dominant, winning both of her sets 6-1 to secure another crucial point for the team.
