IRVINE, Calif. – The CUI beach volleyball team host their second day of the season and remain undefeated as they picked up another two wins against Vanguard and Cal State Northridge in dominating fashion earning their sixth consecutive win.
CUI 5, VU 0
The Golden Eagles have had another dominant match with Vanguard as they won all five games and did not allow the Lions to take a single set. Four of the five duos held their opponents to under 15 points in both of the sets played.

CUI 4, CSUN 1
CUI faced off against Cal State Northridge for the second time this season and was able to secure the win with a little more comfort as the last match-up came close with a 3-2 score.
The Matadors put up a fight in the slots but CUI was able to make adjustments to win four of the games in just two sets. CSUN won the fifth slot but the Golden Eagles did not go down lightly. CUI came back to win the second set after dropping the first set and forced a third set but CSUN was able to extend their lead winning the only Matador game.
