IRVINE, Calif. - Five men and five women from this past year's Concordia University Irvine tennis squads were honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for achieving high academic marks, while both teams as a whole also impressed with their success in the classroom.
Spencer Cinco,
Adam Large,
Max Renz,
Sarosh Rustomjee, and
Felix Veyhle represented the PacWest Conference Champions as ITA Scholar-Athletes. To qualify as individuals for that list, student-athletes needed to compile at least a 3.5 GPA or higher.
On the CUI women's team,
Jessica Bear,
Alicia Da Re,
Jennifer Jolin,
Sophie Rachor and
Pia Starnecker also made that esteemed list with GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Both Concordia tennis teams also earned at least a 3.2 Team GPA during the 2024-25 academic year, which was
the last season of competition for both squads.
