IRVINE, Calif. – The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) announced that 139 Concordia University Irvine Golden Eagles were named recipients of the 2025-26 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards.

Concordia remarkably was second among all PacWest Conference schools this past school year with 139 total honorees.

The CUI women's track and field team led the way with 19 student-athletes meeting the mark. The baseball squad also had 17 to lead all men's programs, followed closely by men's lacrosse.

It's important to note that all NCAA DII-sponsored sports are included on this list – not just PacWest Conference-sponsored programs.

In order for a student-athlete to be honored on the D2 Academic Achievement Award list, all nominees must:

• have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale 
• have completed a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work at a two-year and/or four-year institution 
• have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year 

In addition, the athletics director of the Division II institution must be a current dues-paying member of the D2 ADA.

This is the 19th summer that the program has recognized the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level.
