IRVINE, Calif. - Senior midfielder Ashley Grubert earned her second PacWest Player of The Week Award, leading No.13 CUI to two draws against No.2 Cal Poly Pomona and Simon Fraser. 

Grubert had the only goal on Thursday night against No.2 Cal Poly Pomona to earn a draw 1-1. 

She continued her week on Saturday with two goals against Simon Fraser, which helped CUI comeback from a 3-1 deficit late in the second half. 

So far this season, Grubert has scored six goals, which leads the entire PacWest Conference. She also tied for points in the conference with 13. 

The Golden Eagles stand at 3-0-3, to remain unbeaten this season.

Grubert and the rest of the CUI women's soccer team host Point Loma on Saturday, Sept.19th. This will be the first of two times they will face the Sea Lions, with this one being a non conference match up. The game will start at 6:30 p.m. PT.
