Biography
2016: Received a D2ADA Academic Achievement Award… Went 1-9 while playing at No. 1 and No. 3… Played a majority of the season with Rachel Flynn… Earned her lone win on the season with Flynn against of Colorado Mesa (Apr. 7) by a score of 29-27, 21-18… Took the match to three sets against CSU Bakersfield and twice with CSU Northridge.
GOLDEN WEST: She attended Golden West College from 2012-2014 for both beach and indoor volleyball.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2012 from Calvary Chapel High School in Costa Mesa, CA... She played soccer and volleyball as a varsity athlete for the Calvary Eagles.
OTHER: Born in Huntington Beach, CA on March 16th 1994 to Bill and Marie Ames... She has an older brother and sister, Matt (30) and Courtney (28)... When Kaila isn’t playing volleyball she enjoys hanging at the beach surfing... Majoring in psychology she plans to become a counselor.
