2019: Named an MPSF All-Academic Honoree… Was a team captain in his final year… Played in 71 sets and 30 matches with six starts… Collected 224 assists, 47 assists, 13 aces, 11 blocks, and nine kills… Had 24 assists, six digs, two aces, and a kill against Westcliff (Jan. 17)… Served up a career-high six aces against UC Santa Cruz (Jan. 31) which ranks for most in program history and tied for most in the MPSF in 2019… Dished out a season-high 36 assists and nine digs to go along with three aces in a win over Ottawa-AZ (Mar. 8).

2018: Named an MPSF All-Academic Honoree… Played in 72 sets and 28 matches with two starts… Had 94 assists, 22 digs, 10 blocks, seven kills, and three aces on the season… Dished out 10 assists and picked up two digs against Hope International (Jan. 29)… Had an ace in back-to-back matches against CSUN (Feb. 24) and at USC (Feb. 23)… In his hometown, he had six assists and two digs at Hawaii (Mar. 4)… Had 11 assists and two digs against Benedictine-Mesa and followed later that day with 14 assists at Ottawa-Arizona (Mar. 24)… Set career-highs of 34 assists, six digs, and six blocks in a start versus UC Santa Cruz (Apr. 6).

2017: Started in three matches and played in 29 matches and 70 sets… Collected 79 assists, 15 digs, four aces, three blocks, and two kills… Set a new career high with 26 assists against USC (Mar. 3)… In the season opener against UC Irvine (Dec. 29), he had 14 assists, two digs, and a solo block… Picked up a kill and two digs along with 12 assists in a three sets against Cal Lutheran (Jan. 27)... Had three digs at Hope International (Mar. 1).

2016: Played in nine matches and 15 sets with one match start as either a setter or serving specialist. Set a career-high in assists with 25 and digs with six in his start against Holy Names (Feb. 6). Picked up a dig and an assist against Charleston (Jan. 4) and a dig against Hope International (Feb. 18).

2015: Redshirted his first year at Concordia.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Punahou High School in Honolulu, HI, graduating in 2014 ... Competed on the varsity volleyball team for two seasons ... Was named team captain both seasons ... Was a member of State Championship team his senior season ... Team was undefeated his senior season.

OTHER: Born in Honolulu, HI to Steven and Lani Kaaa ... Has one brother (Josiah) ... Majoring in Business Administration: Accounting and Finance ... Plans to become a financial manager after graduation ... Enjoys surfing, paddling, and playing video games.
