2021: 1st Team Academic All-Conference selection by PCSC... Named PCSC Swimmer of the Week after claiming victory in both the 200 IM and the 400 IM in a dual meet victory over Redlands... Also anchored the victorious 200 free relay for CUI... Posted fourth-fastest time in school history in 200 free at the PCSC Championships and also was member of 200 free relay that placed third at conference meet... Earned First Team All-PCSC Honors in 200 backstroke as well.

2020:  CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention… D2ADA Academic Achievement Award… Made All-PCSC Team in 200 Backstroke

2019:  Helped CUI women's swim and dive team finish in 1st place out of all competing NCAA DII schools competing at Pepperdine in Malibu Invite by winning the 400 IM and placing in the Top 6 in four total events... Named Newport Rib Company Eagle of the Week as a true freshman... Made All-PCSC Team in 200 Backstroke, 400 IM and 500 Free.

CLUB: 13 years on swim team of Placentia... Awarded MVP multiple times

OTHER: Born July 6, 2000 to John and Lisa Silzel... Has three siblings: Jacob, Emily, Grace... Majoring in Biology... Enjoys plants, chasing sunsets and stars, baking, going on adventures... Nickname is McSizzle... Favorite athlete is my big sister... Favorite team is the Golden State Warriors... Favorite thing about Concordia is my team and when the cafeteria has mashed potatoes... Favorite movie is A Quiet Place... Favorite TV shows are Psych, The Black List, Stranger Things... If money were no object I would end up buying too many clothes...
