Derek Delgado joined the CUI baseball coaching staff as a graduate assistant in 2023 after earning his bachelor's degree that spring.

A former infielder for the Golden Eagles who contributed primarily at second base and third base during his career, Derek was also the "music captain" who helped organize all the team's walk-up and warm-up songs with the sports information department.
