Concordia Irvine Athletics

Geoffrey Gerlach is set to begin his fifth year in the Eagles program however this will be his first year on the bench as a coach.  Prior to moving to Irvine, he spent his entire childhood in Australia. 

Geoffrey began his career at Concordia in 2015 and played the next four seasons under CUI head coach Ken Ammann and his staff.  He was named PacWest Honorable Mention after the 2018-19 season. He played a major role in helping Concordia men’s basketball reach the NCAA DII tournament for the first time in program history.

Geoffrey graduated from Concordia with his bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2018 and is currently working toward his master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration.
