PREVIOUS SCHOOLS: Played for CSUN the past three seasons with six starts in 12 appearances. Before that he played in 57 games and made 16 starts during his two seasons at La Salle University, a D1 school in the Philadelphia area.

2021-22 Season (Graduate)
Started the Matadors' first three games at center in the 2021-22 season before going down with a season-ending injury ... Averaged 5.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game for the season ... Made 7-of-10 from the field and 3-of-5 free throws ... Would see 13.7 minutes per game on the floor ... Scored a CSUN career-high nine points in the season opener at USC ... Started three conference games and averaged 3.4 points per game ... Scored a season-high eight points in the season opener against Stanford (12/15/20) ... Pulled down a season-high seven rebounds to go with six points and two blocks vs. New Mexico State (12/28/20) ... Registered seven points and four rebounds at Cal State Fullerton (1/16/21).

2019-20 Season (Junior)
Brookins played in one game for the Matadors ... In his CSUN debut, Brookins played eight minutes at Auburn (11/15/19) before suffering a season-ending injury ... Scored two points in the contest.

2018-19 Season (Sophomore, La Salle)
Brookins saw action in 28 games, making 15 starts in the front court ... Posted career-best averages of 5.0 points and 2.6 rebounds per game while he shot 51.0 percent from the field ... Also averaged a career-high 17.2 minutes on the floor ... Tallied 18 blocks on the campaign ... Began season with back-to-back double-figure outings against Temple (10 pts.) and Lafayette (13 pts.) ... Knocked down first three-pointer of his career against the Leopards ... In homecoming trip to California, scored 12 points against Northwestern and had first career double-double (10 points and 10 rebounds) vs. Grand Canyon ... Played in 29 games in his first season with the Explorers, making one start ... Averaged 3.8 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest ... Scored seven points and dished out two assists in first collegiate game against Saint Peter's ... Tallied eight points on 3-of-3 shooting against nationally-ranked Northwestern ... Mater Dei High School
