Angie comes to Concordia from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania where she began her coaching career as an age group summer league coach. After swimming with the Elmhurst Swim Club for 13 years, she competed at the NCAA DIII level for Hiram College in Ohio. She was named captain for Hiram her junior and senior years and was a multiple time NCAA Scholar All-American for the Terriers. She primarily swam the 100-200 backstroke.
After earning her BA in Elementary Education and graduating Summa Cum Laude, she returned to Hiram as a graduate assistant during the 2021-2022 season.
Since moving to California with her fiance last February, she has been working for Premier Aquatics as the head coach of the Emerald Bay Swim Team as well as a swim instructor.
Angie is very excited to join CUI as an assistant coach and is thrilled to be a Golden Eagle!
