Bryiana Richardson

Prior to coming to Concordia, Coach Bryiana Richardson served as a volunteer coach for the University of New Orleans during the 2017-18 school year.

Richardson graduated from LSU in August 2017 with a B.A. in Kinesiology. She ended her collegiate career tied as the tenth-ranked 400m hurdler of all-time on LSU’s outdoor performance list with a personal best of 57.24 seconds.

Richardson competed in the 400 hurdles at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds in each of her four seasons with the Lady Tigers.  In 2017, she was an NCAA semifinalist in the event for the first time in her career, earning a career best NCAA finish of 19th place at the 2017 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Richardson was also an SEC finalist in the 400m hurdles for the first time in her career in 2017 when she placed fourth at the SEC Outdoor Championships. To top it off, Coach Richardson was a three-time selection to the SEC Academic Honor Roll from 2015-17 while also earning a spot on the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll as a freshman in 2014.

Richardson was honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as a USTFCCCA All-Academic performer following her rookie season in 2014.
