Concordia Irvine Athletics

2017: Started 24 matches and played in 105 sets… One of three Ealges to play all 30 matches… Fourth on the team in kills and points with 155 and 196.5 respectively… Also had 107 digs, 54 blocks, 11 aces, and six assists… Season-high 13 kills against UC Merced (Feb. 25) to go along with five digs, two aces, and two blocks… Collected 12 digs and seven kills at Hope International (Mar. 1)… Against SUNY New Paltz (Jan. 19) he had eight kills and hit .400… Had 11 kills, four blocks, and four digs against Cal Lutheran (Jan. 27).

2016: Played in 19 matches while starting 16 of them and a total of 60 sets. Led the team in kills with 157 and points with 181. For the season he picked up 8 aces, 77 digs, and 29 blocks. Had a career-high in kills with 21 at Hope International (Jan. 21) to go along with eight digs. Against Springfield (Jan. 16) he had 17 kills as well as career-highs of two aces and four blocks. In a home game against Grand Canyon (Jan. 25) he picked up 13 kills with only one error and hit .545.

2015: Played in 50 sets… Notched 63 kills, 55 digs, 27 blocks, seven assists, and five aces.

IVC: Attended Irvine Valley College for one year ... Competed on the varsity volleyball team for one season ... Named First Team All-Pacific Coast and received the 2014 Community Ambassador Award ... Was a member of the CCCAA State Championship semifinal team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at San Clemente High School, graduating in 2013 ... Competed on the varsity volleyball team for three seasons ... Named to Div. 1 All-Tournament team, All-Sea View team, and Orange County All-Stars team his senior season ... Was a member of the OC Volleyball Tournament Championship team and receive OC Varsity Most Improved Award his senior season.

OTHER: Born in Long Beach to Dan and Mary Hammer ... Has two sisters (Allie, 25, and Michele, 22) ... Sisters, Allie and Michele, play collegiate volleyball ... Enjoys playing volleyball and going to the beach with friends.
