Concordia Irvine Athletics

2017: Played in 10 sets and seven matches with one start… Collected five kills, two aces, and two digs on the season… Had two kills in as many swings to go along with an ace in a set at UC Merced (Feb. 2)… Had a dig in his first career start against Cal Baptist (Mar. 11)… Picked up a kill at Hope International (Mar. 1) and Grand Canyon (Apr. 4)… At Benedictine-Mesa (Apr. 5) he had a kill and an ace.

2016: Played in four matches and five sets for the season. Picked up a dig against Charleston (Jan. 4) as a serving specialist. Notched a kill against Holy Names (Jan. 6).

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Lutheran High School of Indianapolis, in Indianapolis IN, graduating in 2012 he competed in both Basketball and Volleyball at the varsity level... From high school Brian attended Indiana University in Bloomington IN, where he played for the men’s volleyball club program from 2012-2015.
 
OTHER: Born Aug. 15^th 1993 to Tom and Gail Failinger…Brian has two brothers Ben (24) and David (20) and is majoring in exercise sports science for the Eagles.
