A graduate of Concordia University Irvine and former men's volleyball player for the Eagles, Isaiah Kaaa joined the coaching staff at his alma mater in the summer of 2019.
A two-time MPSF All-Academic honoree, Kaaa's name is all over the school's record books. He served up a career-high six aces in a win over UC Santa Cruz which ranks for most in program history in one match and tied a MPSF record. His senior year at CUI, he helped the Eagles sweep No.5 UC Irvine for the first time in program history to help head coach Shawn Patchell earn career win No. 100 at Concordia. Kaaa also helped the Green and Gold post home wins over ranked opponents like BYU and Stanford on Senior Day.
Kaaa is a native of Honolulu, Hawai'i and graduate of Punahou High School. He served as captain his last two years at Punahou and helped lead his team to an undefeated record and a state championship in his senior campaign.
