2018: Played in 29 sets and 13 matches with nine starts… Had 61 kills, 24 digs, and 15 blocks on the season… Collected 10 kills on a career-high 24 swings with six digs in a sweep over Grand Canyon (Feb. 22)… Put down eight kills and had two blocks at USC (Feb. 23)… Set a career-high of four blocks in an upset win over CSUN (Feb. 24)… Tied his career-high of four blocks, with one being solo against Benedictine-Mesa (Mar. 24)… Put down eight kills at Ottawa-Arizona (Mar. 24)… Against UC Santa Cruz (Apr. 6), he had a career-high 11 kills and had four digs… Came off the bench in the MPSF Tournament Quarterfinal match against Grand Canyon (Apr. 14) and hit .750 with six kills on eight errorless swings.

2017: Played in 34 sets and 20 matches with four starts... Played either as an opposite or middle blocker… Collected 34 kills while hitting .235 and had 20 blocks and 14 digs… Tied his career-high with nine kills against Hope International (Jan. 23) and hit .364 and had two blocks… At Hope International (Mar. 1) he had four kills in eight swings and hit .375… Had seven kills and three blocks at Benedictine-Mesa (Apr. 5).

2016: Played in 11 sets and seven matches with two starts... Played as an outside hitter, opposite, or middle blocker. Had his best night against Holy Names (Feb. 6) where he picked up a career-high with nine kills, five digs, and two blocks. Notched four kills against King’s (Jan. 2). Came off the bench as a middle blocker and collected two kills at USC (Mar. 16).

2015: Played in 24 sets… Notched 21 kills, six digs, five blocks, an assist, and an ace.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Belleville East High School in Belleville, IL, graduating in 2014 ... Competed on the varsity volleyball team for three seasons ... Was named team captain his senior season ... Named Third Team All-Conference his sophomore season ... Named First Team All-Conference his junior and senior seasons ... Also competed on the varsity football team and was named to the All-City Team.

OTHER: Born July 20, 1995 in Panama City, FL to Michael and Christina Bergt ... Has two brothers (Ben and Peter) and three sisters (Grace, Phoebe, and Maggie)... Majoring in Business Finance and Accounting ... Enjoys playing beach volleyball, football, and basketball... If money were no object I would travel the world.
