2017: Started 26 matches and played in 95 sets… One of three Eagles to play in all 30 matches… Second on the team with 239 kills and 281.5 points… Also collected 85 digs, 46.5 blocks, and 18 aces… Notched double-digit kills in 11 matches… Career highs of 16 kills and seven digs against Cal Baptist (Mar. 11) while hitting .419… Had 15 kills and hit .414 with two aces and four digs against UC Santa Cruz (Mar. 10)… Hit .478 with 14 kills in three sets at CSUN (Dec. 30)… Picked up two aces at Cal Lutheran (Mar. 29) and 13 kills and hit .476… Finished his career fourth best in the program with 419 kills.

2016: Played in 18 matches with nine starts and 46 total sets as an outside and opposite hitter. Collected 112 kills, 21 digs, 17 blocks, and three aces overall. Had 13 kills and hit .500 to go along with three digs against Holy Names (Feb. 6). Against nationally ranked UCSB (Mar. 9), he had 12 kills and hit .318 plus served an ace. Had a career-high four blocks to go along with eight kills and two digs in home match against Regina (Jan. 2).

2015: Played in 46 sets… Notched 68 kills, 34 digs, 16 blocks, five aces, and three assists.

PACIFIC: Attended University of the Pacific (Stockton, CA) for one year (2013-14) ... Competed on the varsity volleyball team for one season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo, graduating in 2013 ... Competed on the varsity volleyball team for four seasons ... Was named team captain his final two seasons.

OTHER: Born Aug. 22, 1995 in Foothill Ranch, CA to Joe and Karen Anselmo ... Has one brother (Cole, 18) and one sister (Kendall, 14) ... Majoring in business management ... Plans to start a competitive motorsports company after graduation ... Enjoys snowboarding, racing, and going to the beach.
