SWIMMING: Participated on the swimming team in 2008-09, but did not compete at NAIA National Championships. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Johansen High School in Modesto, graduating in 2008 ... Played four varsity seasons of water polo and swam four years ... Amassed 390 goals ... Was named All-American, All-CIF first-team, league MVP and The Modesto Bee Water Polo Player of the Year as a senior ... Also earned league MVP honors as a junior ... Experienced similar success as a swimmer, winning six events at Stanislaus County Championships and earning four-time team MVP accolades.
