2013-2014: Placed 17th in the 100 Backstroke, 19th in the 200 Backstroke, sixth in the 200 Medley relay, and sixth in the 400 Medley Relay at the 2014 NAIA National Championships... Finished 14th in the 100 Backstroke, and 16th in the 200 Backstroke at the 2014 Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference Championships... Fifth All-time in Eagles history in the 100 Back 200 Backstroke... Second All-time in Eagles history in the 200 and 400 Medley Relay... 2014 NAIA Scholar-athlete.
2012-13: Took 12th in 200 free relay, 15th in 800 free relay, 15th in 400 free relay at the UNLV Invitational (12/17/12) ... Took 12th in 400 medley relay at the Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive Conference Championships (2/16/13).
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at St. Thomas Aquinas (North Vancouver), graduating in 2011... Competed on varsity swim and water polo for four years... Team captain senior season, earned sixth place in 100 free at Provincials junior season, six medals (three gold, two silver, one bronze) at BC Winter Games, earned two medals at Provincials sophomore season, earned fourth place in water polo at BC Summer Games for water polo, earned gold in relay at Provincials freshman season.
OTHER: Born on June 26, 1993 in Bogota, Colombia to Juan Gomez and Maria Clau... Has one brother (14) and one sister (22)... Sister, Ana Maria Gomez, swam for Concordia... Majoring in ESS... Enjoys going to the beach, watching movies, and spending time with friends.Â
