ORANGE COAST: Attended Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA, for three years... Competed on the varsity cross country and track teams for Coach Ochoa... Named Team MVP, All-State, All-Conference, and All-American.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Irvine High School, graduating in 2010... Competed on the varsity cross country and track teams for four seasons... Named team captain her junior and senior seasons... Named All-League her last three seasons... Named All-American, All-State, Team MVP, and one of the Top Nine Seniors in Orange County her senior season.
OTHER: Born Feb. 19, 1992 in Santa Ana, CA to Robert and Jo-Ann Silva... Has one brother (22) and one sister (25)... Majoring in kinesiology... Plans to pursue a career in physical therapy after graduation.
