Concordia Irvine Athletics

Chloe Ruiz joins the Concordia University Irvine women’s basketball staff for the 2019-20 season as a student manager.  She is the younger sister of men’s assistant basketball coach, Austin Ruiz.

Chloe attended her first two years of college at Santa Barbara City College, where she graduated with four Associate degrees. 

Basketball has always been a very large part of Chloe’s life.  Her dad, Matt Ruiz, is the former head coach of Lakewood High School men’s basketball team , where he coached for 20 years.  Prior to Lakewood, he was an assistant at Long Beach State for 8 years.

Chloe brings managerial experience to the Eagles, as she was her dad’s manager her first two years of high school.
