CUI graduate Jasmine Rachal joined the women's basketball coaching staff in 2024 as a graduate assistant and moved into a full-time assistant coaching position in August 2025.
A three-time All-PacWest Conference selection as a student-athlete at Concordia, Rachal averaged 15.6 points per game for her career which ranks No. 7 all-time in the CUI women's basketball record book. She was named First Team All-PacWest after her final season wearing the Green and Gold and was also Second Team All-PacWest as a sophomore and redshirt junior. She ranks No. 4 all-time in three-pointers made with 170 triples to her name.
The Brea, Calif. native became the second player to join the 1,000 career point club in the program's NCAA DII era, joining former teammate Michaela VanderKlugt. Along with former back court mate Katie Timmerman, that trio all played professionally overseas following graduation from CUI after graduating in a two-year span under head coach Christine Collins-Kiernan. Rachal played for Dieppe Basket 76 in France during the 2023-24 season.
Rachal is a graduate of Brea Olinda High School and played for CUI from 2018-2023. She and Timmerman were honored together at the 2023 Senior Legacy Award Banquet, where Rachel was named CUI Co-Female Athlete of the Year. Rachel was also a SAAC representative for women's basketball during her time on campus, helped as a student-worker for home CUI sporting events and was named Academic All-PacWest every season (5x).
