Biography

GROWING UP: Jessica played Camogie (a native Irish field sport) at the highest level and has won multiple All-Ireland, Munster and County Titles with my County, Club and High School teams. Captained her club team to county titles and won numerous awards throughout her years playing Camogie. Played in the mid-field position which requires you to have great aerobic fitness/endurance levels, be dominant in the air and be tactical on the ball whether that be helping out in defense, playing the ball in smartly to the forwards or else taking it on yourself to score. She always did running alongside playing Camogie but since she achieved all that she wanted to achieve in Camogie she has turned her sole focus and athletic ability to cross country and track running. She is extremely passionate about T&F and is so excited to continue working hard in pursuit of achieving all her goals and dreams in this sport. Jessica also Achieved 6 A1's in her Leaving Certificate. Achieved First Class Honours (1.1) in her Undergraduate Degree.

Morning of: hydrate, usual morning journaling and reading routine, stretch/loosen out, coffee, have to always blast some music in my headphones or in the car on the way!!…Favorite Pro Athletes are Faith Kipyegon, Eilish McColgan, Emma Bates, Dan Carter, Rory McIlroy. I admire and take learnings from many athletes across various sports.…Favorite Pro Teams are Team Boss and The All Blacks (Rugby).  …Favorite Books are Shoe Dog, Legacy, The Obstacle is the Way A New Earth. … and her Pre-Competition Song is Hall of Fame - The Script.
