PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Competed on the cross country and track and field teams... Earned All-GSAC 2008-2011, Champion of Character Award in indoor track, All-American, 16th place in Wisconsin for Cross Country, All-American for indoor track for 4x800 in 2008.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Bolsa Grande (Calif.) High School, graduating in 2007... Competed on the varsity track and field and cross country teams for four years... Earned 4th place at State and was MVP for track and field senior season, Earned 27th place at State, MVP for cross country and track and field, Champion of Character sophomore season, Earned 28th place at State for cross country, MVP for cross country and track and field freshman season.
OTHER: Born July 27, 1989 in Anaheim, CA to Juan, Jose and Maria Pelayo... Has three sisters (24, 21, and 16)... Majoring in exercise sport science... .Plan after graduation is to finish graduate school... Enjoys running, spending time with family, and shopping.
