Hannah Chabin joined the CUI swim and dive coaching staff in the Fall of 2024.
She is originally from Highlands Ranch, Colorado and swam for Highlands Ranch Aquatics. She is a recent graduate of Concordia University Irvine where she was a two-year captain and member of the women’s swim team. She received her Bachelors of Arts in English.
Throughout her time at Concordia, she was able to lead the team as both a captain in and out of the pool. She was a part of the PCSC Championship team for all three years. She competed in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 Breast, as her primary events throughout her time at Concordia. While outside of the pool, she loved to spend time at the beach, exploring different parts of California, listening to music, and enjoying time with her friends.
At CUI, she will be completing her Master’s in Business Administration. She is excited to join the team of passionate and knowledgeable coaches and learn in this new role. She is inspired to give back to her team after being an athlete here at Concordia, and now fulfilling a leadership role as a coach. She hopes to help inspire her athletes as they compete and navigate their experiences as college athletes in the familiarity of the PCSC conference and at Concordia. She desires to offer both mentorship and coaching for the team both in and out of the pool for the student athletes. Her coaching philosophy is to cultivate a group of individuals that are striving for excellence in and out of the pool, while prioritizing a positive environment with the presence of faith, leadership, hard work, and character development.
