Katie Jackson

Katie Jackson join the CUI swimming and diving program as a graduate assistant in 2019.

She was born and raised in Sacramento, Calif. and began her swimming career at the age of four.  She also participated in water polo all four years of high school at the varsity level.

Jackson competed at the collegiate level at Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif. where her team won back-to-back conference championships. She was also a member of the college team’s first-ever CCCAA State Championship title in 2017.  She finished her Bachelor of Science in exercise science with an emphasis in sports performance from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz. 

She has continued her education and will be finishing her Master of Science in coaching and exercise science from CUI in October 2020.  Jackson has coached swimming at many different levels including: swim lessons, recreational teams, club teams, and collegiate levels.

Coach Katie also enjoys working with student-athletes to inspire them to achieve their goals and share her passion for the sport.
