Brianna Villanueva joined the CUI Track and Field programs as a graduate assistant in January 2022. She is pursuing a Masters in Public Health.
2022 Season
In her first season with the Golden Eagles in 2022, Villanueva led the throwers to 3 All PacWest performers, 2 All-West Region Performers, and 1 NCAA National Qualifier.Â
Additionally:
- Indoor NCAA DII USTFCCCA All- West Region in Women’s weight throw performer and Women’s shot put performer.Â
- Outdoor NCAA DII USTFCCCA All-West Region in Women’s shot put and Women’s discus.
- Outdoor NCAA National Qualifier in Women’s shot put.Â

Personal:
Prior to joining the coaching staff, Villanueva earned a Bachelors in Public Health and a Bachelors in Education Sciences from UC Irvine. Villanueva also had a very successful career on the UC Irvine Track and Field team.Â
