Northern Illinois University alumna Jourdan Doffeny joined the track and field coaching staff at Concordia University Irvine in 2018 as an assistant coach focused on high jump & multis.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Doffeny was a standout athlete in hurdles & multis at New Mexico Junior College and she finished her college career at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. She finished third in the pentathlon in 2016 and fourth in 2017 at the Indoor Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championships while also taking second and third place in the heptathlon outdoor MAC Championships.Â
Doffeny came to Concordia after one year as an assistant track coach at Hawkeye Community College in Iowa. Â She displayed her ability to develop jumpers and hurdlers by producing five NJCAA national qualifiers.
Doffeny has a bachelor's degree in communication studies with an emphasis in media studies, and a certificate in digital media production. Doffeny is also a certified USATF Level 1 coach and currently in pursuit of obtaining a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification and master’s degree in Coaching & Athletic Administration from CUI.
