High School:  Graduated from Beckman High School... Freshman and sophomore year, she was named Best Varsity Runner on her team.. Her senior year she was named most valued player along with scholar athlete... Avery is currently the record holder for the 100mh at Beckman High School... Avery's sophomore year, she served as President of the BSU club.
