Payton Spoja

Payton Spoja, a Boise, Idaho native, joined the Concordia women's volleyball staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2024.

She began her collegiate career at the College of Southern Idaho, where she established herself as a formidable player. In 2019, she was a pivotal member of the team that clinched the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I National Championship. Her outstanding performance that season earned her a spot on both the Regional All-Tournament Team and the National All-Tournament Team.

After her successful tenure at the College of Southern Idaho, Payton transitioned to the University of Saint Katherine, where she continued to excel in her sport. Competing during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons, she served as team captain during her senior year and holds the record for the most aces in a single match (9).

Payton looks forward to inspiring the next generation of athletes while pursuing her Master's in Accountancy.
