Reese Roper joined the Concordia University Irvine coaching staff as a graduate assistant in 2026.

Roper began her collegiate career at Pasadena City College, where she earned her Associate of Arts degree in Communication while competing as an outside hitter for the Lancers. During her time at Pasadena City College, Roper was recognized with the Lancer Award for two consecutive years, honoring her leadership, character, and positive impact on her team.

She continued her collegiate career at The College of Idaho, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communication. After competing for one season, Roper transitioned into a coaching role as an assistant coach, beginning her development as a collegiate coach and gaining valuable experience in player development, leadership, and team culture.

Roper brings her experience as a collegiate athlete, team leader, and coach to the CUI program. Her background in communication and passion for building strong relationships provide a foundation for her approach to coaching, while her experience on both sides of the game allows her to connect with and develop student-athletes both on and off the court.
