2011: Played in 112 games... Hit .259 (304-86-843)... Had a career high 20 kills against Vanguard (9/13) and 29 digs against Texas at Brownsville (10/29)... Finished the season with 345 digs, 67 blocks, 35 assists and 18 service aces... Named All-GSAC, All-GSAC Scholar-Athlete and NAIA 2nd Team All-American

NORTH IDAHO COLLEGE: Gao played the 2009 and 2010 seasons at North Idaho College in Coeur d' Alene, ID... in 2009 she had 221 kills, 23 aces, 222 digs, 88 assists, and 63 blocks... in 2010 Gao had 204 kills, 20 aces, 204 digs, 45 assists, and 44 blocks... was a 2010 Region 18 First Team All-Scenic West selection.
