Adam Kasten

Adam Kasten is a Chico State alumni who recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology in the fall of 2023. The 2023-2024 season marks the beginning of his coaching career as an assistant track and field coach for CSU Chico, specializing in the long and triple jump.

He spent the first two years of his collegiate career at Riverside City College before transferring to Chico State in the spring of 2020. Although COVID-19 delayed his progress, he eventually returned to the track after two seasons of competition.

In his last two years competing in the long and triple jump for Chico State, he participated in the CCAA Championships both times and earned a first-place title in the long jump in 2022.

Having recently transitioned from competition, Adam is eager to embrace his coaching role and contribute everything he has to offer to the team. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Public Health as a graduate assistant, where he will also coach Concordia's long and triple jump events.
