Andy Shaheen joined the Concordia University Irvine staff in August 2025. He previously served 2 years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Dallas Cowboys.
While working for the Cowboys, he earned his Master of Science degree in Sport Administration from Arkansas State University (2024).
Before that, Shaheen earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from The University of Alabama (2023). During that time, he worked with the Crimson Tide's cheer & dance, men's & women's tennis, football, and women's basketball teams, as well as a local high school in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In summer 2022, he served as a summer intern with the Dallas Cowboys during their training camp and preseason.
Born and raised in Long Beach, CA, Shaheen attended St. Anthony High School in downtown Long Beach. In his free time, he enjoys watching Lakers basketball, Alabama football, and spending time with family and friends.Â
