Erica Adams joined the women’s basketball coaching staff in Fall 2025 as a Graduate Assistant while pursuing her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge (CSUN), a member of the Big West Conference. Prior to CSUN, Adams competed for three seasons at the University of the Pacific in the West Coast Conference, where she studied Health, Exercise, and Sports Science.
An Oakland, Calif. native, Adams made an impact both on and off the court throughout her collegiate career. She was named to the All-WCC Freshman Team during her first year, and later earned multiple academic honors, including the 2024 Academic Dean’s List, the 2024–25 Academic Big West All-Conference Team, and the Big West Commissioner’s Honor Roll with Highest Honors. She also served as SAAC Co-President in 2025, demonstrating her commitment to leadership and student-athlete advocacy.
Before her collegiate career, Adams was a standout at California High School, where she made an All League team each year and earned East Bay Athletic League MVP honors in 2020. She also led her team to its first-ever league championship. Off the court, she gained early coaching experience by working with her high school’s women’s basketball summer league, where she developed her passion for mentorship and leadership.
Adams brings to the coaching staff a deep understanding of the game, a strong academic foundation, and a proven record of leadership that continues to shape her work with student-athletes.
