Concordia Irvine Athletics

Luka Brancato joined CUI's Sports Information Department as Graduate Assistant in August 2026. Working under Sports Information Director Ben Rosehart, Brancato helps to provide complete coverage on the sports programs at CUI. 

Brancato is originally from Redondo Beach, Calif. but now lives in Irvine, Calif.. He has a great understanding of college athletics and CUI Athletics in specific. Brancato spent four years on CUI's baseball team as a pitcher. He also has experience as a staff writer for Concordia's student newspaper, The Concordia Courier. Brancato earned his bachelor's degree in communications and is now working on his master's degree in sports business. 

With his experience as a student-athlete and in journalism, Brancato is dedicated to helping Concordia student-athletes' have the best experience possible while they compete. He is excited to start his career in the sports industry.
