The Rundown: RIVERSIDE, CA –The Concordia Eagles fell to the California Baptist Lancers 2-1 in a PacWest matchup on Thursday, October 1

By the Numbers: The scoring for the Lancers started in the sixth minute when Riley Phillips beat an Eagles defender to take a 1-0 lead. Just before the end of the first half, in the 44

Brianna Meyer blasted one from outside in the 88
th minute to beat Lancers goalkeeper, Sara Escobedo. The Lancers won 2-1.
The Difference: The Lancers were off to a hot start in the first half, controlling most of the offensive game. They outshot the Eagles 5-3 and scored two goals.
