"With the exception of a dismal first quarter, we won a few small battles tonight," CUI head coach Trisha Stafford-Odom said. "We are slowly finding our identity on offense and our pride on the defensive end. Ashley Earles was fantastic tonight and brought the focus we need from her every night. She proved to be crafty with the ball and can bring us offensive punch. It's going to take some time to get the kind of consistent play from this group we need for success. We need to start valuing each possession."
What it Means: The Eagles drop to 0-3 on the season and will look to capture their first win as an NCAA Divison II program next week.
Up Next: CUI will take on Bethesda on Saturday, November 28th at CU Arena at noon.
