"Their conversion off of our live turnovers was the difference in the game. Â We failed to value the ball tonight and it hurt us. Â We were surely aggressive enough to shoot more than eight free throws but allowing 30 points in the opening quarter was not indicative of the defensive tenacity we need," says Eagles head coach Trisha Stafford-Odom. Â "
Haley Brown was remarkable on both sides of the ball. Â She is really becoming a dependable leader for this team and when her fire spreads in the locker room, we will produce an amazing product."
Â
What it Means:Â Following the loss, the Eagles drop to 2-10 overall and 1-6 in the PacWest.
