The Rundown: The Concordia Eagles fell to PacWest leading Academy of Art, 78-71, at home on Saturday night as part of Senior Night.

By the Numbers:  Gaby Johnson had a huge night with 24 points and six rebounds.  Zoe Goss scored 10 points and Tyler Crockom and Jasmine Davis each grabbed seven rebounds.  Goss and Crockom each had four assists.

The Difference: The Urban Knights hit eight threes to CUI's three, even though CUI outscored them in the paint 36-30.

Critical Plays:  A fastbreak from Zoe Goss had the Eagles up 7-6 midway through the first quarter.  It was tied at 16 at the end of the half.  Gaby Johnson banked home a three to put CUI back ahead 19-18.  The Urban Knights got on a roll and led 29-21 just a couple minutes later.  AAU led 39-29 at the half.  Alana Allensworth hit a shot midway through the third quarter to keep it under nine, 48-39.  AAU began to pull away in the fourth, 69-52 with six minutes left.  CUI made some late buckets, but fell 78-71. 

What it Means: The Eagles fell to 2-20 and 1-16 on the season.
