The Rundown: Concordia won their 29th straight home match on Thursday night, 3-1, over Hope International in CU Arena.
By the Numbers:  Andrew Hammer had 15 kills and seven digs, hitting .268.  Hunter Howell had nine kills and seven blocks.  Jonathan Predney added eight kills and Taylor Falduti had six.
The Difference:  Concordia won in blocks, 14-5-10.5, and hit .279 while holding HIU to .130.  The Royals had 10 more errors.
Critical Plays:  Hope led early in set one, but Timothy Moses killed two and CUI got back up 9-7.  Hunter Howell sent one back, and forced an HIU timeout, 14-11.  Joseph Pillon added one more to the advantage, 19-15.  CUI finished the set 25-20.  The Royals jumped ahead 12-10.  CUI fought all the way back and tied it at 21.  The Royals finished the set, 25-23.  Concordia won a huge rally in set three and jumped ahead 13-9.  A block from Jonathan Predney tacked it on, 19-10 Eagles.  CUI won comfortably 25-18.  Andrew Hammer broke the tie in game four, 13-12.  They extended it to 18-15.  CUI finished it 25-21.
What it Means:  The Eagles improve to 9-2 on the year.
