The Rundown:Â The Concordia Eagles were defeated by Azusa Pacific 103-44 on the road Friday night.

The Difference: The Eagles shot 28% from the floor and 30% from beyond the arc compared to Azusa shooting 50% from the field and 55% beyond the arc. The Eagles gave up 30 turnovers, which resulted to 40 Azusa points. Azusa out-rebounded the Eagles 45-33.Â
Ashley Earles had nine points and one assist and
Elizabeth Rudd contributed seven points and three steals.

Critical Plays:Â The Eagles held their own in the first quarter and jumped out to an 8-4 lead when
Elizabeth Rudd hit a three to take the four-point advantage. Later in the first,
Ashley Earles came up with a steal and took it all the way for a layup and was fouled to give the Eagles a 16-14 lead. At the end of the first it was a 10-point Azusa advantage. The Eagles had an eight-minute drought before scoring their first points in the second to break a 20-0 Azusa run. The second half was similar as the Eagles were unable to protect the ball. Azusa won the game 103-44.
