The Rundown: The Concordia Eagles swept Notre Dame de Namur 6-0 and 12-2 in Belmont, CA on Sunday, thanks to six home runs blasted by the Eagles, a stat category they lead the PacWest by 27 home runs, as second-place Azusa Pacific only has 28 home runs as a team, and CUI ranks eighth nationally.

By the Numbers: Ryann Ferguson hit two home runs and Charlotte Foster added one. Ferguson led the way with three hits and Foster and Amy Eilefson each had two. Grayson Harvey held the Argonauts to four hits as she matcher her career-high of 14 K's for the third time this season.
The Difference:Â Harvey was dominant once again and just need the one run CUI scored in the first inning.
Critical Plays: CUI scored on an error in the first and Ferguson and Foster added solo shots in the third. Foster drove in Ferguson with a single in the fifth and Ferguson hit another solo bomb in the seventh.
Concordia 12, Notre Dame de Namur 2
By the Numbers: Eilefson, Jasmin Dresser, and Hannah Howell all homered in the game, and Dresser recorded four hits in the game, coming up a triple short of the cycle. Susana Gurney and BethAnn McCann combined to hold NDNU to two runs and eight hits.
The Difference:Â CUI scored 10 runs through the last three innings to blow it open.
Critical Plays: Ferguson doubled in the first and scored on a groundout, and then Dresser doubled to make it 2-0 early. With the score 2-1 Eagles, Dresser hit a two-run shot in the fifth, Howell hit a solo shot, and Megan Feuerstein hit a two-run single for the five-run inning. Eilefson homered in the sixth for two runs and Dresser cleared the loaded bases with a double in the seventh for the 12-2 lead.
"We really hit the ball well today, not only over the fence but a lot of line drives as well," CUI head coach Crystal Rosenthal said. Â "Grayson was good again and Susana Gurney threw really well in game two. Â Overall it was a productive weekend and we hope to continue to play well."
What it Means: CUI improved to 36-9 and 17-5 in the PacWest, going 4-0 on the road trip. The Eagles are now tied with Cal Baptist and Azusa Pacific for first place in the conference with five losses.
